Opinion:

This is one of the many dystopias that have recently appeared in bookstores. This is a country where government officials decide everything, from where you work, where you live, you eat y. .. with whom you marry. Officials classify people by their tastes, hobbies, etc.. and matching the most suitable candidate.

So you may deduce that the book is about love. It is basically a genre romance. What if you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with your perfect match, which is your best friend, but you're in love with another? because this is what happens to Cassia.

I liked the story, though he reminded me a lot (if not much) to Delirium ... good, and in some ways is more or less the same, except that in this love is natural while Delirium, is a disease. I liked this feeling that you have to like someone, it is more appropriate but fall in love with another. I feel sorry for best friend, Xander, which is very good to her and (insurance) is in love with Cassia, but this ignores him. Although the situation in which she is also not easy. Not wanting to hurt someone you care about, but which are not in love, is difficult.

Xander, as I said, is the best friend. The guy is perfect: handsome, intelligent, by all the girls fight. Ky, is the mysterious boy, who tries not to emphasize anything, it has a secret: it is an aberration. He's handsome and smart too, but it's different. Finally Cassia is the typical girl in the bunch, who likes to hang out with friends, is smart and always get along, until now. Since the death of his grandfather, begins to question the entire system operation. For example: what is happening at the borders? has started a war? and are just giving them pills?.


This is a little (or I've seen so) like to say that we believe that our system is perfect, but in reality it is not and, in times like now, if you look closely, you can see there are many cracks.

History is However, although what happens in this book is not much. In my opinion it should finish the book so quickly. Also, if you look closely, you'll see that the lyrics are great and if it was more plain little occupy only half, but now that the trend is to buy books longer ... Is well written, although there are pieces in which is stirred too much (especially in flashbacks). But I recommend that you read, I like it! :)

This tension between Ky and Cassia. Can not see them together, but are desperate desire to touch, if only to go hand in hand ...

Worst thing about the book?

These flashbacks bothered me a lot ... I wanted to know what would happen in the present but not what had happened when they were young ... TT
